The Prevention of Alcohol and Risk related Trauma in Youth (PARTY) Program provides young people with information about risk taking behaviour enabling them to recognise potential injury producing situations, make informed choices and decide to behave in a way that minimises risk. This free program coordinated by St George Hospital Trauma Service, involves a full day in-hospital excursion for high school students aged 14-19 years. Students meet nurses, doctors and pre-hospital teams who care for Trauma patients. They will hear from young people who have survived trauma and hear what it is like to be a trauma patient.
